OBITUARY
Luana Mary CHATFIELD, 81, of 7019 Collamer Road, East Syracuse, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Litchfield County, Conn., Miss Chatfield lived many years in the Syracuse area. She retired as a special education teacher from Percy Hughes Elementary School, Syracuse. Miss Chatfield was a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego. Surviving are two brothers, Frederick Chatfield of Winsted, Conn., and Edward Chatfield of Winchester, Conn. and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at DeWitt Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Collamer Cemetery. Calling hours will be noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 4901 Jamesville Road.
