WATERBURY Mrs. Regina Mae (Obar) CHATFIELD, 60, died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Richard C. Chatfield.
Regina was born Oct. 28, 1950, in Augusta, Maine, daughter of the late Cecil and Madeline Obar Sr. She was raised in Prospect.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jason J. Chevrier of Shelton; two daughters, Yvette Ford of North Franklin, and Jeanette Burgos of Plymouth; three brothers, Cecil Obar Jr. of Waterbury, Stephen Obar of Georgia, and Dana Obar of Naugatuck; two sisters, Brenda King of Massachusetts, and Dale Beaudry of Prospect; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
