A wedding ot district Interest was celebrated at St. Phillips, Church Hill, Sydney-, on Saturday between Phyllis (Lorna), eldest daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. H. Thornton Moore, of Point Clare, and Randwick, and Harold Shallor, son of Mrs. CHATFIELD, and the late Mr. R. P. Chatfleld,of Mosman.
The Rev. Stewart offlciated.
The bride, who was given away by her father looked very attractive in a grace full gown of off-white embossed lame, cut on Empire lines, with circular skirt, falling into long train. The frock was designed with heart shaped neckline, and finished with dainty buttons to waist. A cut tulle veil vas held in place by a top knot of' pale pink water lilies, and orange blossom. She carried a beautiful trail of pale pink water lilies.
Maid of honor was Mrs. C. B. Clegg, ............. who wore a pretty dusty pink ............. litle girl gloves, and carried ............ of azalias.
............ Moore, sister of the bride, ..... bridesmaid. She looked charming in ........ frock of jacranda blue over ....... with tight-fitting bodice, heart shaped neckline, and full flowing skirt. She wore a cut tulle veil with topknot, and carried an unusual bouquet in the form of a fan.
Best man was Mr. Malcolm George CHATFIELD, and the groomsman, Mr. Robert Chatfield.
A gift from the bridegroom to the bride was a silver fox fur, while the bridesmaid received a beautiful pendant.
The reception was held at Elizabeth Bay House, ...... over 60 guests were received by the bride's mother frocked in light cyclamin; with matching tulle hat; she carried a bouquet of gladioli. She was assisted by Mrs. Cliatfield, who chose black, with matching accessories. The three-tier wedding cake was decorated in pink and silver to match the bride's frock. The young couple were the recipients of many beautiful gifts, and cheques, the bride receiving from her mother a silver fox .....
The young couple left on Sunday on a three weeks honeymoon tour of the South and Canberra. The bride's travelling frock was of white ..... lace, with matching accessories. Their future home will be at Mosman.
