The Reverend Canon Dr Adrian Chatfield
Brought up in Trinidad and Brazil. After training for ministry at the College of the Resurrection in Mirfield, he worked in parish ministry for 15 years in Trinidad and North Devon.

For over 20 years, he has been a theological educator at St John's College Nottingham, TEE College Johannesburg and Wycliffe Hall Oxford, while continuing in non-stipendiary parish ministry.

He is married to Jill, with two children, four granddaughters, and heads for the nearest mountain whenever he gets a chance.

During forty years of active ministry, Adrian has lived and worked in five Anglican provinces in four countries, and brings to his teaching a culturally diverse perspective on the character and ethos of the Anglican Communion. Author of a distance learning course on the subject made available to bishops of the 2008 Lambeth Conference, he teaches Anglican history and practice to ordinands in the Cambridge Theological Federation. As a member of the national Fresh Expressions team, he has a special interest in new forms of church and pioneering ministries, while continuing to treasure the inherited tradition.
