MRS. EMMA A. LODGE DEAD

Mrs. Emma A. Lodge, who lived in Lebo, died Thursday night at 9 o'clock in Newman Memorial County hospital.

No funeral arrangements have been announced.

Mrs. Lodge was born August 2, 1881, in Miami county, Kansas, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hale. She was married to Newton Lodge in Burlington, and he died in Emporia March 2, 1942.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. J. L. Milner, 213 State; Mrs. Maude Thompson, Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. L. E. Boxton, Valparaiso, Ind.; one brother, John Hale, Jr., Olpe; two sisters, Mrs. G. A. Masters and Mrs. Maude Penrow, Los Angeles, Calif.; one granddaughter, two grandsons, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Lodge, of Lebo, who died Thursday in the Newman Memorial County hospital, will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the Roberts-Blue chapel. The Rev. Leroy Hay, pastor of the First Christian church, will conduct the services, and burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
