Carolyn Bristol Beardslee, widow of Nathan S. Beardslee died at her home at 165 W. Buffalo Street on Tuesday morning, July 20th. She was born in Gainesville on 6/20/1850 and was the daughter of Hon. William and Adelia M. Lockwood Bristol. For 70 years she had lived in Warsaw. Mr. Beardslee passed away 11/1/1915.
Surviving Mrs. Beardslee are 2 sisters, Mrs. Belle B. Kurtz of San Diego, CA; Miss Millie J. Bristol of Rochester and a brother Henry R. Bristol of Warsaw. There are also 3 nieces, Mrs. Laurence B. Graham of E. Aurora, Mrs. R.W. Lindemann of Dansville and Miss Jane Bristol of New York City and a nephew, William Bristol of Rochester.
Funeral services were held at her late home on Thursday July 22 at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Clarence B. Gould of the Congregational church officiating. Burial was in the family plot in Warsaw cemetery under the direction of William O. Meyer.
