Obituary of a cousin.
Alan Rouse Peterson, May 5, 1939 - May 28, 2013. Alan grew up in Westfield, New Jersey and graduated from Westfield High School in 1955. He attended Nichols College in Dudley, Massachutes, where he received a B.B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1962. Alan was stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965. In 1966, he started working for American Electric Power Company (AEP). In 1977, he married Pamela Ann Marsh, who unfortunately passed away in 1982. Alan moved to Columbus in 1983, when AEP relocated to Ohio. He retired in 1996. After retirement, Alan enjoyed winters in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he took many opportunities to attend baseball spring training games. He enjoyed spending time with his friends from work and from college. Alan loved to walk and he loved sports, most especially baseball. Alan is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Susie Peterson; and his cousin, Kaaren Chatfield.

Hello, I am researching the Chatfield line and have a Mary Catherine as an adopted daughter of Seth and Amanda Chatfield born 11/11/1862 died 1949 in Ironton, Lawrence Cty, Ohio and married to Adam Owrey.
"Suggest you try the LDS site and go to the 1880 census they just got on line. Adam is there with Clara as wife and listing Charles, William. Joseph. Serah (Zera) as children.
Seth and Amanda had 4 children of their own- William b. 1846, Henry b.1849, Abraham b. 1852, and Victoria Isabel b. 1856. Looked up William Hamilton Chatfield on the census and he lists a sister - Katie M age 17 as living with him and his family. That could be your Mary Catherine and it's possible that they didn't have children or it they did it was possibly Ida. Hope this helps. Good luck!"
