William Watson Truby, retired Belfont "nailer", died this morning at 10 a.m in his home, Third and Adams street. He was a native of Pennsylvania but spent most of his life here. His father the late W.W. Truby was a former foreman at the Belmont plant. His parents preceded him in death but he is survived by these children: Mrs. Alfred Patton of New York, Mrs. Florence Morton of Delaware, Mrs. Will McMeans of Alabama, Walter of Ironton, one sister Mrs. Carrie Crumacher, one brother, Harry G. Truby of Ironton, a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
He was a member of Central Christian church.
The body will be at the Frank Feuchter funeral home. Arrangements for last services have not been completed.
