Marvin H. Matthiesen, 80, of Oconomowoc, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010.
Marv enjoyed the outdoors, especially his time hunting and fishing. Gatherings with family and friends provided many laughs and memories to all.
Marv is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Doris (nee Hiller); his children, Janine (Todd) CHATFIELD, Wayne (Kim) Matthiesen and No. 2 son, Ed Seitz; grandchildren, Erik, Marisa, Mandi and Natalie; and a brother, Willis (Mardale) Matthiesen.
Funeral services for Marv will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 21, at the Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave. (Highway 67), Oconomowoc. Interment will follow at La belle Cem.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to The National Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
The family would like to thank Marv's special "angels" at Angels Grace Hospice, the Intensive Care Unit staff at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Visiting Angels.
