Amy G. Hills,77, Scott Twp, Burnett Co., died Wednesday, 7 Sep 2005 at her home. Born 7 Mar 1928, to Vernon L. & Gertrude E.(Bakker) Cornelison. She graduated from Frederic High School. Married Harold Hills on 19 Apr 1948 at Pine City, MN. They made their home at Danbury, Hertel and in 1949 moved to Scott township, Burnett Co. where they have resided since. Amy was active in a vriety of civic organizations, a 4-H leader, past officer and president of Scott Community Club, secretary/treasurer of Scott volunteer Fire Dept. and a charter member of the Burnett Co. Citizen Patrol. She was a homemaker and drove school bus in the town of Scott for the Spooner School District. Preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Henry Winberg. Survived by her husband, Harold; two daughters, Patricia Ann Skicki Hills and Lynnell Marie Blakey both of Spooner; a brother, LeRoy (Laura) Cornelison of Webster; five gr-children, Jerry (Debbie) Blakey, Spooner, Amy Whitlow, Spooner, Julie (Dan) Skicki, Sun Prairie, Tracey Blakey, Columbia Heights, MN and Sara (Steve) Washington, Peoria, AZ; three gr-grandchildren, MaKenna Washington, Nathaniel Blakey and Cheyenne Whitlow, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. A time of gathering will be held from 4-8 p.m., friday, 16 Sep at Scalzo-Taylor Funeral Home, Spooner. (bio by: Bel)
