Dorothy Marie Shafer Deuel Archibald of Janesville, Wisconsin. She is on the same stone with her first husband. She is buried right between her two husbands.
She was born in Rural Waupun, the daughter of Fred and Viola (Banks) Shafer. Dorothy married Allen Deuel in Wautoma in 1943, and he preceded her in death in October of 1984. She later married Lester Archibald in Las Vegas in 1987, and he preceded her in death in June of 2011. Dorothy worked for AJ Products for many years until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary Post 1621, Women of the Moose in Janesville and Cargill United Methodist Church. She died at Huntington Place Assisted Living, Janesville. She is survived by her 3 children; 7 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
