Elder William Edward Kuester is the oldest son of Ida May Needles & Lewis Kuester, and Pastor for the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was born in Eastern Iowa and his parents had a great Christian reputation. In fact, there is a book, "Southern Tides"; written about their family. His parents set up Tuberculosis Centers for the Adventist Church, and his Mother was a midwife for the women of Old Mexico, the area south of the Rio Grande line of Texas today. Bill & Theda had no natural children. They adopted Sheila Charlene Kuester born in 1957 in Ottawa, Canada. Their son in law, David Milton acted with Cher.
